How To Use The Bra Size Chart

When using the chart to find your bra size, keep in mind:

  • The band size increases as you move from left to right. Move left or right within the row if your band doesn't fit.
  • The cup size increases as you move from top to bottom on the chart. Move up or down the columns if your cups don't fit. In between cup sizes? Go up or down a half-cup! And keep in mind if you want styles that are full coverage or not!
  • Bra sizes that share a row are sister sizes, meaning they share the same cup volume (though they have different cup letters). For example, at a glance they’re all just different bra sizes. However, the row with bra sizes 36C, 38B, and 40A have something in common: they all have the same cup volume but have different band sizes. The same goes for the row with bra sizes 38H, 40G, 42F, 44E, 46D, and 48C.

    Very comfortable

    I love these 24/7 Uplift Plunge bras. I am always on the hunt for a comfortable bra that also looks nice. They are so comfortable I can wear them all day with no complaints, no tugging or pulling. I have 5 of these including the lace style. I am normally a 36C or 38C but in this bra I wear a 36C. I find these to be a little bit roomier than other bras.

    One of my go to bras

    Super comfy, love the coverage and the weight is nice. The fabric is comfortable and doesn't irritate my skin. I love this style so much! Only downside is that sometimes with thinner golf polos (like i have to wear for work) it may show a double line because of the way it is made. Still one of my favorites though!

    The best underwire bra

    I came to Thirdlove after Wirecutter's review and can confirm the bra is as comfortable as they say! For underwire, at least. I love the unique design of the mesh and the removable pads—they truly help balance out the girls if you're a lil lopsided like me. Also, the half sizes are amazing. Fits so well, looks so flattering, I don't think I can ever go back.

    A rarity!

    I am an unusual size for these days—a 42 B, and perhaps truly an A (but that bra does not exist). I am a small cup size who would love some pushup or even padded options, but the large band size makes it an odd combo and impossible to find. Until now!!!!!!
