ThirdLove HQ Sends Love and Donations to Chico

ThirdLove HQ donates supplies and necessities to sister office in Chico, CA due to Camp Fires.

During the busiest retail week of the year, we’re redefining the meaning of BOGO and offering a different kind of deal. Starting today through Nov. 27, buy one bra and we’ll give one bra to a victim of the California wildfires.

In just one week, the Camp Fire in Northern California has engulfed 140,000 acres of Butte County, causing over a dozen of our own employees to lose their homes. To support all those who’ve have been displaced or evacuated, ThirdLove HQ banded together earlier this week and packed a U-Haul truck full of essentials, including 2,500 ThirdLove bras, clothing, and toys. Dozens of San Francisco residents also stopped by our office throughout the evening to contribute items.

Our Co-founder and Co-CEO, Dave Spector, drove the truck to Chico the following morning to distribute items to employees and community members in need. The Chico office has continued to accept and distribute donations to assist the efforts of other donation centers in the area.

On Thursday, we sent a note to the community inviting impacted members to stop by the Chico office to pick up free bras and underwear from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Friday. A line quickly grew around the building, showing a need for even more essentials.

As we continue to plan additional volunteer opportunities, we’ve created a GoFundMe page to help our Chico teammates rebuild their lives in the meantime. If you would like to contribute, all funds will be redistributed to those affected. Our hearts go out to our incredible teammates and all those who’ve been impacted in any way.
