Post Surgical Bras

I was surprised to see Post Surgical Bras as an option. The Monica Bra is very smooth and provides a lot of comfort after double mastectomy with reconstruction. I also tried the front closure AnaOno post surgical bra and it's smooth, comfortable and has easy front closure for ease of use after surgery. I highly recommend these bras!! Thank you Third Love for post surgical options. :)

Supports and low cut

It’s been a challenge with most of my compression bras to wear low cut or tanks due to the styling showing more chest or my back so this works great. Perfect for being 2+ months into my recovery from a breast reduction.
The compression bras on Amazon I bought a L and this I needed a M

Soft material, but shame about the pads

Bought this for wearing while I go through breast radiation treatment. This is my second time and I knew this time I wanted a no nonsense bra to help with the pain and discomfort. The fabric is definitely soft against the skin, comfy thicker straps, and the design ensures that the edges avoid rubbing the raw areas (although impossible to avoid the area under the boob). That said, it’s not worth the high price tag. In particular, the pads inside, while removable, are so frustrating to put back in after laundering. Going through treatment, my energy level and patience is limited already, and I also need to clean the bra often if wearing daily. I fiddled with those stupid pads for at least 20 minutes each time and while wearing, and they still never sat back properly. And I’m younger… I can’t imagine my mother or grandmother worrying about that. They are a cheap material, crease easily, and clearly were an afterthought. However, wearing a bra with bunched up pads on sensitive boobs is not exactly great, which defeats the whole point of my purchasing this bra. Without the pads, it lacks support. The 3 fasteners on the back are also a bit too fiddly when you are putting back on - again when you’re tired and hurting, this matters a lot. Two clasps would have been better. Definitely better than a sports bra. As for sizing - I’m a 36B1/2 (asymmetrical) and I got the size Large (fit was perfect). Would I buy again or recommend… sadly, no. I was trying to treat myself with a quality bra but I ended up feeling like I got taken advantage of. Cancer is bad enough. You don’t need this bra or that awful feeling of one more bad thing happening. There are cheaper options with the same soft material for half the price. Get a fancy massage instead after the treatment part is done and you’ve healed.

My favorite bra! Would order again!

Ordering another one because I wear this bra every day. Favorite bra because it is so comfortable. No complaints and love the light pink color.

So comfy!

Bought these for post-breast reduction wear and they are fantastic and so comfortable and I have every intention of wearing them until they fall apart. Surgeon told me I could start wearing rear-close bras 2 weeks after surgery and even right then, these didn’t irritate my incisions at all. Perfectly supportive without squishing anything!
