How To Use The Bra Size Chart

When using the chart to find your bra size, keep in mind:

  • The band size increases as you move from left to right. Move left or right within the row if your band doesn't fit.
  • The cup size increases as you move from top to bottom on the chart. Move up or down the columns if your cups don't fit. In between cup sizes? Go up or down a half-cup! And keep in mind if you want styles that are full coverage or not!
  • Bra sizes that share a row are sister sizes, meaning they share the same cup volume (though they have different cup letters). For example, at a glance they’re all just different bra sizes. However, the row with bra sizes 36C, 38B, and 40A have something in common: they all have the same cup volume but have different band sizes. The same goes for the row with bra sizes 38H, 40G, 42F, 44E, 46D, and 48C.

The calculator only gives a size for an underbust over 24.9 in, up to 42.5 in, with a difference of up to 13 in. Blank cells and measurements outside these ranges have no size in the calculator.

    This is my first Thirdlove

    This is my first Thirdlove bra and I am impressed. I always prefer minimizer bras and this one is comfortable, no scratchy points, and really brings you in on the sides. The fabric is smooth and the back hooks are padded- wow! I just really love this bra. I also appreciate that they offer a B cup, which normally isn't "large", but it is when your rib cage and width are wide. I usually wear a 42B, but in this bra I found I needed a 40C, but I do have a little extra weight on me right now.

    Very comfortable

    I purchased this in black and beige and I am so happy with my purchases. This bra is very comfortable and does what it says - I am very busty and this bra fits like a glove. It reduces nicely without the girls looking squashed and the straps don't cut into my shoulders and the back fits well too.

    Back goes up

    The back doesn't stay in line with the front. I don't have heavy breasts, but it seems like the front stayed fine, but the back road up. I like the 24/7 classic unlined lace minimizer better. It doesn't have that issue.

    Doesn’t last

    This is the first bra I’ve owned that actually fits me. I wear it daily. Unfortunately, they just don’t last. I had my first one replaced in less than a year. Second one is falling apart again at 8 months since my replacement. It’s a bummer because they fit so well, but I can’t justify this spend on something that continues to fall apart :(

    This bra fit perfectly when

    This bra fit perfectly when I used the tightest clasp. I contacted the personal fit people who helped me. They suggested a 34F instead and it fits a little tight but no spillage and I use the loosest clasp. I think the spandex will relax over time making this bra the perfect fit. I wear it during the day, but usually need to take it off in the evening when I'm sitting on the couch. You know the feeling. It doesn't HURT, but it's not super comfy on the rib cage when I'm sitting. For size, I measure 32.5" in the band and 38" in the breast and 34F fits snug in the band, while 36E fit a bit loose.
