App and Sizing Technology

How does the app work?

The ThirdLove iPhone app allows you to get sized and shop our collection from your iPhone. The sizing feature of the app transforms your phone into a virtual measuring tape. Alternatively, you can always use your industry size to buy your favorite ThirdLove style.

What should I wear when getting sized?

Wear your most supportive underwire bra -- no push-up or sports bras allowed. You can take your photos with or without a tank top over your bra.

How does the sizing technology work?

Our patented technology uses two photos in conjunction with computer vision/image recognition algorithms to understand the size of your body in relation to the iPhone and map your shape.

What happens with my photos?

Your photos are never stored. All of our sizing takes place on your phone. We never view, upload or share your photos.

Is there an Android app for ThirdLove?

Not yet, but there will be soon!

Can I use my iPad?

You can use your iPad to browse our collection. To size yourself using our patented sizing technology, you need to use your iPhone.

If I chose to use the sizer, do I have to be measured every time I place an order?

No, once you have sized yourself using the ThirdLove app, your measurements are saved in your fit profile for future use.

What model of the iPhone is supported?

Right now, we support iPhone models 4 and above.

Why can't I download/open the app?

If you are experiencing technical difficulties, try restarting your iPhone or deleting and re-installing the ThirdLove app. Still a no go? No worries, contact our support team at support@thirdlove.com.

What are "half cups"?

We created half cups to provide a better fit for women who have always been between cup sizes. For example, our A½ is between an A cup and B cup. Click here to view our size chart where you can learn more about half cups!

What size range do you currently offer?

We currently offer bras in AA-G cups and 28-42" bands, with more sizes launching soon. Click here to view our size chart where you can learn more about the sizes we have available!

Why don't you carry my size?

We're a young and growing company and we’re working hard to expand our size range. Send an email to hello@thirdlove.com to sign up for our waitlist and you’ll be notified when your size becomes available.

Do you offer maternity or sports bras?

Not yet, but we're working on it!

If you are out of stock in my preferred style, is there a waitlist?

Yes, click “notify me” and when the item comes back in stock, a ThirdLove fit specialist will be in touch.

What happened to “TL sizing”?

Due to customer feedback, we decided to simplify our sizing and convert our “TL size” to the closest industry equivalent. You will notice that our online store and iPhone app are now in traditional industry sizes. Questions? Feel free to reach out: hello@thirdlove.com.

Returns & Exchanges

What is the return policy?

We hope you love what you ordered. But in case it doesn’t work out, we accept returns and exchanges on eligible merchandise up to 30 days from the date of your purchase. All returned or exchanged items must be unworn, unwashed, and with tags still attached. Panties and items marked "final sale" are not eligible for return, exchange, credit or refund.

For U.S. orders, shipping on all returns and exchanges is free, within 30 days of purchase.

For Canadian orders, shipping and duties for returns and exchanges is free for first-time orders over $99. On all subsequent orders, return shipping and duties for orders over $99 is $9.99. For all orders under $99, return shipping and duties are the responsibility of the customer. Returns and exchanges must be initiated within 30 days of purchase.

For International Orders, return shipping and duties are the responsibility of the customer. Returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase. International Orders are not eligible for exchange

How do I make a return or exchange?

If you would like to make a return or exchange, log into your account and click "returns and exchanges" or visit www.thirdlove.com/returns and fill out our custom returns form. Once submitted, a customer service representative will contact you with a prepaid shipping label within one business day.

How long will my exchange take?

We will place your exchange order when your return package is in the mail. Standard shipping takes 5-7 business days. If you would like to expedite your exchange, we recommend placing a new order and simply returning your original one.

When will my card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged when your order ships. When placing your order, you will receive a pre-authorization charge that verifies the card is valid.

If I return my item when will I be refunded?

If eligible, your refund will be issued 10-12 business days after you place the return package in the mail. If it has been greater than 12 business days, please send an email to hello@thirdlove.com with your order number and the date you placed the return package in the mail.

Shipping & Handling

What is the shipping cost?

For U.S. orders, standard 5-7 business day shipping is $4.99. If your order exceeds $75, it is eligible for free shipping. We also offer expedited 2-day shipping for $24.99 and 1-day shipping for $39.99.

For Canadian orders under $99, standard shipping is $9.99. Orders over $99 will receive free shipping. Expedited shipping is not currently available. For International orders we offer a flat rate of $24.99. Expedited shipping is not currently available.

Where is my order?

Orders are generally shipped within 2 business days. To view or check the status of your order, log into your ThirdLove account and visit Account > Order History. When your order has shipped, you will receive email confirmation with the tracking number. Please note that tracking may take 1-2 business days to become active.

Do you ship internationally?

We recently expanded to offer shipping to over 25 countries for a flat rate of $24.99. Please see the list on our checkout page for details.

Purchasing Gift Cards

How can I purchase a gift card?

Simply click here, choose delivery type, and choose an amount. After checkout, a ThirdLove representative will contact you within one business day to personalize your message and ensure on-time delivery.

Can I choose an amount other than the denominations listed?

Unfortunately not at this time.

What's the difference between the mailed gift card and e-gift card?

ThirdLove gift cards sent in the mail are made of brushed stainless steel, pre-wrapped in a little black box with a one-size-fits-most lace thong. All mailed gift card orders will be shipped within two business days via USPS First Class. E-gift cards are virtual versions of the classic gift cards except delivered via email, without the free panty..

Can I ship a gift card directly to the recipient?

Yes! After checkout, a ThirdLove representative will contact you within one business day to arrange delivery.

Can I personalize the gift message, or choose when the gift card will be sent?

Absolutely! After checkout, a ThirdLove representative will contact you within one business day to personalize your message and arrange delivery.

How long does it take for gift cards to be delivered?

All mailed gift card orders will be shipped within two business days via USPS First Class. E-gift cards can be sent within one business day of purchase. We can also arrange for electronic delivery up to one month after purchase.

Try Before You Buy

How does Try Before You Buy work?

You can try our 24/7™ T-shirt Bra risk-free, just pay for shipping upfront. Here’s how it works: choose your size and color, enter your credit card, and your 24/7™ Bra will be on its way. You will not be charged for the bra unless you decide to keep it. You have 30 days to wear it around the house, wear it to work, wear it everywhere you go! If you love the bra and decide to keep it, you will be charged $68 at the end of 30 days. If you decide this bra is not your perfect fit, you can return it, within the 30 day window, and you will not be charged.

Can I really take the tags off?

First, try it on and make sure it’s the right size. If it’s not, just email us at hello@thirdlove.com to initiate an exchange for the correct size. If it fits, go ahead and take the tags off and wear it for 30 days.

How do payment and returns work?

You have 30 days from the date you placed your order to decide if you want to keep your 24/7™ Bra. If we don’t hear from you within 30 days, we’ll know it’s true love and your card will be charged $68. California residents will be subject to additional sales tax. Returns must be initiated within 30 days from the date you placed your order. Returns under any circumstance will be not accepted after the 30 day period has concluded. At the time you place your order a $68 pre-authorization will be placed on your card to validate your form of payment. This pending charge will fall off of your statement within a few days (varies by bank)

When does my 30 day try before you buy period start?

Your try before you buy starts the day you place your order. You’ll have 30 days from then to wear and love your 24/7™ Bra!

What if it doesn’t fit?

If you know right away that you'll need a different size let us know before you remove the tags! We want to work with you to get you your best fit ever, and exchange shipping is always free. Our fit experts are available to chat with live on our website from 9am-6pm PST, Monday - Friday. You can also email us at hello@thirdlove.com if you have any questions!

How long will it take my bra to arrive?

Your bra will ship within one business day from the date you place your order, and will be delivered within 5-7 business days from the date it ships. Shipping can vary depending on where you’re located. Shipping time does count towards your 30 day try before you buy but we think you’ll have more than enough time to fall in love!

Is this a subscription?

No, this is a one-time delivery, and you’ll only be charged for the 24/7™ Bra if you decide to keep it. You’re always welcome to place orders with us in the future but the Try Before You Buy program is a one-time only promotion!

Why can’t I use a coupon on the Try Before You Buy?

We believe that our Try Before You Buy program is more special than any other coupon we can offer. We stand behind our 24/7™ Bra 100% and we’re happy to let you try it for risk-free.

Is Try Before You Buy available in Canada?

Canada is not currently included in our Try Before You Buy program due to the cost of shipping and duties.

Is the bra new?

Yes, you get a brand-new bra. If you end up falling in love, that's the one you'll keep.

What happens to the bras that get returned from Try Before You Buy?

If a gently used bra gets returned after being worn during our Try Before You Buy program, we'll wash it and donate it to a great cause! We’re working with several charities in California to give women in need a perfectly fitting bra. If you’d like more information, contact us at hello@thirdlove.com !
